This year at newday we’ve put together an incredible range of seminars to help fuel your faith and strengthen your relationship with God. 

Look out for:

Youth Alpha | Big Top 2 (All ages)

The nations biggest Alpha course is back! If you’ve got questions about the Christian faith, or if you’re curious about the meaning of life then this seminar stream is for you. Featuring short videos, times for discussion and snacks, it’s a great place to explore (and find) your life’s purpose and meaning.

Topics: Jesus is…?, What real love looks like, what difference a relationship with God might make to your life.

Drenched | The Gallery (all ages)

The Christian life is meant to be one that is lived in the power of the Holy Spirit. In this seminar stream we’re providing multiple options to receive fresh baptisms (drenchings) in the Holy Spirit to help kick start a life of intimacy with and dependency on God. 

Topics: What the Bible says about praying in the Spirit (speaking in tongues), how to be  drenched in the Holy Spirit.

Ethos | Pop (all ages)

This seminar is a ‘podcast style’ setting with discussion and Q&A about how to do life right. We’ll consider trends in non-Christian culture, phones and discipleship and friendship. Not to mention a session all about dating where we’ll answer your biggest questions about romance and sex.

Topics: Brain rot, filters and the way screens shape your soul. Manifesting, crystals and Christ. Toxic relationships and how to build better friendships, and how to honour God in dating.

Authentic | The Common Room (15-18s)

Authenticity is more than just a current trend, it’s what Jesus requires of his people. In a world of noise and pressure to perform, what does it mean to live a real, Spirit-led, nothing-held-back Christian life? We’ll explore why the Christian life can feel hard sometimes and what to do about it, as well as why worship matters, and what biblical friendship looks like.

This is a seminar stream for the adventurous of heart. For those with a radical edge who want to see God transform the world. Packed with true stories, bold faith, and global adventure, we’ll discover how God can use us to make a difference in the nations.

Topics: Stories form the frontline of persecution, planting churches in war zones, and responding to God’s call to take the gospel across the globe.

Learning to Lead | Engage Tent (all ages)

This seminar stream will help you learn from Jesus’ revolutionary example of leadership, discover your potential as a leader, and gain practical tools on how to make a lasting impact on the world. In a world full of examples of leadership crisis and failure, we believe the future will be shaped by young people who dare to lead differently.

Topics: Understanding what God’s leadership looks like, allowing God to shape your heart, avoiding leadership traps and practical principles for leadership.
