global
Newday Global 2010 has now finished and the teams are back in the UK with some fantastic stories. Look out for more information coming soon about Newday Global 2011
How many nations do you think there are in the world? 50, 100, 150? In fact there are over 190 – how many can you name?
In the Bible, nations have less emphasis because tribes are the primary way of describing people groups who share a common purpose, language and culture. When you consider that there are over 15,000 different ethnic groups, it takes your breath away. God’s plan from the beginning was to bless each one, and that this would be done through the Church. The full redeeming work of Jesus involves seeing all being part of the Kingdom of God. However, the task of seeing churches in every Nation and Tribe is far from complete, but it will happen at some point through one generation. Could that possibly be ours?
Newfrontiers has already planted churches in many countries, where they are working to demonstrate God’s love, mercy and grace. This means caring for the poor, feeding the hungry, preaching the gospel and setting people free from oppression. But, the truth is, we have barely started. Now is the time to raise our game, so we can experience enormous breakthrough across the globe. Have you seen your part in this vision yet?
Soon we will have a whole load of interviews and features giving you more information about reaching the unreached across the world. Check these pages again soon for more info.
